Judy joined the Wish team as executive director in 2010, bringing extensive experience in both non-profit and for-profit leadership, including at Rocky Top Therapy Center, and on boards for the Association of Wish Granting Organizations (AWGO) and Metroport Meals on Wheels. Under her guidance as president and CEO, the organization has expanded in scope and reach. Judy loves experiencing the joy of making Wishes come true for children facing an uncertain future.

Clarissa joined the a Wish with Wings team in 2013. She graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a bachelor’s degree in child development, emphasis in child life. Her determination and strong work ethic have been great assets to the team.

“I am thrilled to be here at the wish house where I have the opportunity to advocate for children and their families in such a unique and special way. There are not many instances in life when you can tell a child to make a wish and it actually comes true, but here at the wish house it actually does happen!”

Lesley joined the a Wish with Wings team in Fall of 2010. She is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Wish House and all Special Events and coordinating the volunteers. With a BS in recreation and leisure studies from the University of North Texas, she previously served in several positions for the Colleyville Area Chapter of the National Charity League, and as a logistics event coordinator for GDA Speakers. Lesley serves as the Treasurer for the Association of Wish Granting Organization (AWGO) and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Shelby Weidler
Wish Coordinator

Shelby first joined a Wish with Wings as an intern in 2019. The following year, she completed a Bachelor of Science in child development with an emphasis in child life from Texas Woman’s University. Now, Shelby serves as a part-time wish coordinator while pursuing her career as a flight attendant with Southwest Airlines. She has also volunteered in Cook Children’s Health Care System for more than 35 years.
